WooCommerce – Override theme's file with child file

  • I’m trying to modify the variable.php file from WooCommerce. The theme I am using is already overriding it.

    The path is:
    flatsome/woocommerce/single-product/add-to-cart/variable.php

    I copied that file, made a change, and uploaded it to:

    flatsome-child/woocommerce/single-product/add-to-cart/variable.php

    It’s not picking up the changes and is still using the parent theme’s override. Do I have to edit the parent file or can I override the file that is already being overridden?
