    Hi everyone!
New here so please let me know if I’ve done something wrong.
Now I have a site with Woocommerce and the WordPress Twenty Twenty theme installed and I make my pages with Gutenberg blocks. I honestly don’t change around too much as I’m only a little bit code savvy so I like to keep it simple.

Now here comes the problem. I have some text that is separated using the “separator” Gutenberg block which I have under all my titles, I also have one on my Woo shop page. On all my site pages the separator displays in one particular style, with two strike throughs in the middle, which is part of the Twenty Twenty theme. Except for some reason my Woo pages do NOT inherit this style, so the separator on my Woo shop page is just a plain standard line without the Twenty styling. It’s not a setting/preference I can change in the editor – this separator block is identical to the ones on the other pages.
Why is it doing this and how can I fix it?

It’s oddly specific I know. But it’s driving me mad so please any help is appreciated!

    Hi there,

Can you share a screenshot of the block setup you’ve got as well as a direct link to the page where you’re seeing that happen?

    Hi RK
    Thanks for your reply!

    Page is here: https://ruby.black/shop/
    Screenshot is here: https://i.ibb.co/Csm9yy1/Screen-Shot-2020-09-07-at-5-36-24-pm.png

EDIT: I also just tried changing my Woo settings to designate a different page as the “shop” homepage (tried moving it to https://ruby.black/info). Then the same thing happened to that page and the original shop page conformed back to the Theme styling. Really weird. So any page that I designate as the “shop” is not following the theme styling. I’ve also noticed there is an issue with some extra padding being added to the top of the site content on the shop page only.

Hi @rubyblack. It looks like the shop page is now styled as desired:

What was the issue in this case? It would be great if you could share to help anyone else with the same problem.

    Hi @drwpcom !
I actually never resolved it – it’s a dodgy workaround. I created a new shop page called “store” and left a blank unused page designated as the “shop” homepage in Woocommerce settings. Then I created a redirect so that anyone who visits the shop page is redirected to “store” instead.
If I go to my Woocommerce settings and designate “store” as my shop homepage then the same issue happens.
I would love to actually resolve the issue but this works for now.

That’s a good idea actually, @rubyblack. The Shop page does have a specific, different template to other pages. The alternative is to customize the shop page. You can find several guides for this online including this one. I hope that points you in the right direction!
