Only expert can help me diagnose this problem!

The problem is that we have a wordpress website https://www.com-paint.com and I have switched the pment gateway to a new one!

Some of the users complain that the checkout page takes them to old pmt gateway and some take to the new one….I have disabled cache plugin and cleared all caches…including browser cache and server cache but not able to trace our the problem

The new pmt gateway instamojo gives a QR code screen but some customer reports that they get Com-Paint CC avenue page when the click on place order

So the issue is, whenever a new user tries to place order, the link takes him to the OLD CCavenue page which is highlighted with the word Com-Paint on TOP.

There only 2 tabs debit card and credit card works. This is some error or deliberate / hack I am not able to find out.

When you right click on this page and click inspect, the page changes to the instamojo (One with the QR code) and doesn’t come again. This happens for the new users on our website! Need to solve that

I have already cleared cash…all server and WordPress, I have enabled and disabled all plugins, checked with some freelancers, but no one can solve this issue!

I need an expert mind to help me!!

    Steps to replicate the issue:

    1. Add to cart any product
    2. Enter any details on Checkout page
    3. Click Place order

If you get the payment gateway page with Com-Paint written on top, and only debit and credit card buttons working, IT’s a FALSE PAGE

If you get Instamojo page with QR code option to page, its the correct page

Most of the new users are getting OLD Page and not the new one and that’s the issue. WHY?

  • Hi there @y2vikram ??

Thank you for contacting Woo support!

WooCommerce – Payment Gateway False Connection error or Hack?

Thank you for your patience! We are experiencing an unusually high volume of support requests at the moment, and that has affected our response times.

The new pmt gateway instamojo gives a QR code screen but some customer reports that they get Com-Paint CC avenue page when the click on place order

So the issue is, whenever a new user tries to place order, the link takes him to the OLD CCavenue page which is highlighted with the word?Com-Paint on TOP.

From what I gather, the issue is with the redirection via Instamojo for WooCommerce plugin, at your site’s Checkout page.

Just to clarify, did you already have a moment to deactivate the old CCavenue payment gateway, while also deleting that page, and see how it goes?

I went ahead with adding a product to cart, and then on the Checkout page I only saw the Instamojo payment gateway, as a payment option. Below is a screenshot, for reference:

It is best to reach out to their support channel about this, as they would be in a better position to assist you. I was able to find it at the link below:

I trust that points you in the right direction, but if you have more questions, let us know.

    We’re happy to help.

    Hello,

Thanks for your revert. The problem has already been resolved which was happening due to a plugin called Super Socialiser. I checked activating and deactivating plugins one by one and this was the one causing issue!

    Thanks,

    Vikram

That’s great to hear, @y2vikram ! Thanks for letting us know.

    Hi @y2vikram

Did you conduct a conflict test on your new site like before? If not, can you start by deactivating all plugins except for WooCommerce and IInstamojo for WooCommerce plugin to check if a plugin is causing the issue? If the issue is resolved, the problem lies with one of the active plugins, and you might need to contact the plugin developer.

Also, did you contact the Instamojo for WooCommerce developer? Do they provide any possible resolution?

Please note that since Instamojo for WooCommerce is a third-party plugin which we don’t provide support for (please see our Support Policy), it would be best to reach out to the plugin’s developers for further assistance here. I am sure they will have no problem supporting you there.

Additionally, can you head over to WooCommerce → Status → Tools, and do the following:

    • WooCommerce transients – Clear
    • Expired transients – Clear
    • Clear template cache – Clear

Don’t forget to clear your browser cache as well. You can follow our detailed guide on clearing browser cache here: https://wordpress.com/support/browser-issues/#clearing-your-browser-cache

I hope this provides some clarity on the matter. If you have any other questions or need further assistance, please don’t hesitate to ask.

    Hi Shameem,

I tried contacting woocommerce, and they said its not their issue,

I contacted Instamojo, they said its not their problem.

Now, I deactivated one more product called product adding for woocommerce, and it solved the issue.

But the problem resolution is temporary. Last time it was social login plugin which was causing the issue, now it is some other one. Why the virus or hack is changing plugins? and my question us how come different plugins which we once working well without any update, Start causing issues?

The product add-on plugin was working fine till yesterday!

Something is wrong somewhere I am not able to figure out.

    Hi @y2vikram

From your description, the problem appears to be intermittent, which can make it hard to diagnose. I see that your old payment method was CC Avenue. Do you remember the specifics of its integration on your site? Did you use a specific plugin for this?

I noted that you’ve attempted turning off all other plugins. It would be helpful to know if you also tested the issue using a default theme like 2022. If you haven’t already, could you give this a shot when/if the problem reappears? Additionally, you can also download your wp-content folder to your local system and carry out a keyword search using tools like Sublime Text or Notepad++. By using “Avenue” as a search term, you may be able to identify potential sources of the issue. This might provide further insights into the problem.

Lastly, if the payments made via CC Avenue go to your own bank account, it may be just a technical issue rather than malware.
