  • Hello,

This is part of the express payment feature in Stripe and WooCommerce Payments. It only shows up on compatible devices such as Chrome with a connected Google account and added payment method.

If you are not offering Google pay or Apply pay, you can disable it entirely or for the single product page only:

    Stripe: https://woocommerce.com/document/stripe/#express-checkouts
    WooCommerce Payments: https://woocommerce.com/document/payments/#section-13

    Hi @sininja

    Hi,

I tried to test it, I just disabled the option for Google Pay and Apple Pay, deleted the cache from my website, from the CDN provider and also on my device (Chrome browser cache).

I opened incognito Chrome browser and I still see -OR- (I assume it’s Apple Pay?), but it’s strange because I disabled Google Pay and Apple Pay through WooCommerce Settings.

Can you please test the link on your device and see whether -OR- -OR- appears in your Chrome/Safari browsers at the product and checkout pages?

    Hello,

Can you please test the link on your device and see whether -OR- -OR- appears in your Chrome/Safari browsers at the product and checkout pages?

I’ve checked with Google Chrome and can’t see what you describe in the product or checkout pages.

So we can have a better understanding of your setup, can you please share your System status report? You can find it in WooCommerce > Status > Get system report > Copy for support and then paste it here.

    Hi,

Thank you for sharing. When I use Chrome on my mobile phone, there is an icon for Google Pay (and I tested it) and then there is an -OR- and then “Proceed to Checkout” button.

It looks fine now, but I think that on Safari it will look different.

    Regards,
    Stefan

    Hi @sininja

It looks fine now, but I think that on Safari it will look different.

I have tested it on Safari (the latest browser version, on iOS 15.5), and it seems to be working without issues as well.

    See the screenshot below:

    Hi thanks,

Ok, let’s close this for now.
Maybe it’s something to do with the cache.

    Thanks again.
