Woocommerce Paypal buttons not showing on checkout

    Paypal buttons are not showing on checkout! Only on cart. And yes it is enabled to show on checkout.
    After clicking on paypal payment through the cart and proceeding with completing payment on paypal the website takes me back to the checkout page.
    Someone suggested that this might be due to a currency switcher plugin we have installed.
    It’s true we have Aelia Currency Switcher for WooCommerce and WooCommerce Currency Switcher – AffiliateWP Integration installed.
    Please let us know how we can help debug this.

  • I just posted the same thing and we are not using any currency switcher. The plugin has been set to show on all areas (product page, cart, checkout, mini cart). But it is not showing on the checkout page.

    We provided more details about the setup with the Aelia plugin in your internal support ticket. We hope this already helps to get the gateway visible in your checkout.

    @streamworksaudio While the behavior may sound similar, your issue is likely caused by something else. So we will look into it further in your own thread to not mix up different topics.

    Hello Niklas,

    You were right, the issue was related to the setup of Aelia Currency Switcher for WooCommerce. I had to activate PayPal are selected in the regular Aelia Currency Switcher for it to work.
