Hello @oliverleuchten
Unfortunately, without access to your system report, it’s challenging for me to provide a specific answer to your question. However, I can offer some general advice that might help.
Using the latest version of the PayPal Payments plugin, we have implemented a feature where the “Place order” button remains visible on the Checkout page. This button will redirect the buyer to the PayPal website if the smart buttons fail to load. This ensures that there is always a fallback option for your customers to complete their PayPal payment, even in cases where the smart buttons are not functioning as expected.
Additionally, there is an option to entirely disable the PayPal smart buttons on the Checkout page. You can find more information and instructions on how to do this here: Disable Checkout Smart Buttons. By disabling these buttons, PayPal Payments will operate similarly to the old PayPal Standard integration. This means that buyers will be redirected to the PayPal website with a “Proceed to PayPal” button instead of using the embedded smart buttons on the Checkout page. However, it’s important to note that this change would disable advanced features on the Checkout page, such as Pay Later, Advanced Card Processing, Vaulting, and others, as these features require the PayPal scripts to be loaded on the page.
Beyond these options, there are limited solutions we can offer to address specific Safari configurations that might be blocking PayPal from loading.
I hope this information is helpful to you. If you have any further questions or need additional assistance, please do not hesitate to contact us.
Kind Regards,
Krystian
