• Hi, I am very old user of WP-Sweep.

But recently I installed woocommerce websites.

I want to report a critical problem.

Since the first use of WP-Sweep the ecommerce begins to return many and variable PHP Fatal Errors, related to an excess of memory allocation and any kind of wordpress file. Very frequently, these cause server error 500.

I did not know the problem was relate do WP Sweep, until I decided the rebuilding of a full e-commerce.

Everything worked very well. But at the end of the rebuilding, I decided to execute a sweep of all tables.

Since that moment I have got PHP Fatal Errors.

Fortunately, I restored the backup I did just before the sweep and everything is working very well now

    I hope this can help.

    Kind regards

WP-Sweep doesn’t use up any resource if it is not running. It doesn’t even have a scheduler to run in the background.

So my guess is your host has allocated little memory to your site and so happens when you install WooCommce it hits the limit. All plugins use memory, some more than the others.

    Hi @gamerz,
I realized that just a few days ago and I increased the PHP Memory Limit from 128M to 256M.

    Everything works properly, now.

BUT the use of WP-Sweep by wp-cli is still returning a PHP Fatal Error because of the exhaustion of the allocated memory.

Instead, it always works and worked properly by the web interface.

I can try to increase the Memory Limit at a higher level. Let’s see.

    Thanks for your support.

    Kind regards
