• Hello,
I have just tried to add Woocommerce 2.2.10 to my site. After I activate the plugin, the page goes blank and indicates that Safari cannot find the server. I removed the plugin via my file manager and then uploaded via file manager and the same thing occurs. I removed the plugin again and then deactivated all plugins to see if there was a conflict. The same thing occurred. Can anyone help me get Woocommerce up and running? Bluehost is my hosting provider. The theme is Impreza which is built to work with woocommerce.

Also my site is not live…I have a Coming Soon page activated right now.

  • What is the value at:
Admin page > WooCommerce > System Status > WP Memory Limit?

I can’t access the admin page once I activate the plugin. I get a black screen with a message from safari saying it can’t access the server. In order to access my dashboard or the site I have to remove the plugin.

    blank not black screen

That’s OK, the memory limit will be the same with or without the plugin. What is the value at:
Admin page > WooCommerce > System Status > WP Memory Limit?

I’m not at all sure inadequate memory is the problem but its a starting point.

A test you can do is to temporarily activate a default theme such as Twentyfourteen. Can you now activate WooCommerce?

Are you using the latest version of your theme, 1.9.3?

I have the most current update of my theme and I switched themes to twenty fifteen.

I deactivated all other plugins and once installed I activate the WooCommerce plugin, the same thing occurred. Blank page- no access to dashboard and message saying safari can’t access the server.

Reading round suggests this a safari problem, not related to your website. Can you access your website from another browser or another device? Can you post your url: I undertsand its “coming-soon”, but others can test it in their browsers.

It is not a Safari issues I tried add WooCommerce using Firefox and got this message

    Unable to connect

Firefox can’t establish a connection to the server at enahve.org.

The site could be temporarily unavailable or too busy. Try again in a few moments.
If you are unable to load any pages, check your computer’s network connection.
If your computer or network is protected by a firewall or proxy, make sure that Firefox is permitted to access the Web.

Once I remove it then it takes a few minutes to be able to connect to the server.

Can you put WooCommerce back in, so the site doesn’t work, then use this tool:
    https://www.internetofficer.com/seo-tool/redirect-check/
to find out the http error code. It may help.

used the tool and there was no error just says direct link

Unless someone else can chip in with a better idea, consider rebuilding the site in a subdirectory using a fresh database and downloads. Start with WP, 2015 and WC. If that works, build it up and eventually point your domain at it, the install doesn’t have to be in the root.

Alternatively, consider asking your theme vendor for support.

tried it on various themes and the same thing occurs.

Is that on the same install or a fresh one? I’m beginning to think that your current install is incomplete or corrupted.
