I came across Optimole today and was hoping to utilise it on my site. However when activated while everything works fairly fine my woocommerce Shop page product thumbnails are not being cropped to its set 1:1 aspect ratio. They are being displayed at their original ratios which makes all the image thumbnails a different size. When I disable the plugin the thumbnails display in 1:1 as expected.

Any idea how I could get around this issue?

    many thanks in advance

    Hello @acephalia,

That’s strange. Would you mind contact me at https://optimole.com with the link to your site ? I would love to help you out.

I had a malware warning on one of the Javascript files in the plugin. I use : https://www.ads-software.com/plugins/gotmls/ and have actually never had an alert before so I’m guessing it was a false positive given that you guys seem hardly likely to have any malicious code. But I was trying to use the plugin on a production site so uninstalled it till I could check it out in a test environment as I did not want to take any chances. Will shout your way with a link as requested once I’ve set up a test area.

I’m seeing this issue wherever the images are supposed to be hard cropped. WooCommerce product archives are one example, but also post thumbnails that are meant to be square come out at the original aspect ratio when Optimole is enabled.
