    Hi,
WooCommerce product attributes filters are not working. The plugin cannot find the terms of the attribute. Look for “Colour” and “Accepted Payment Methods” in the filter list on the right sidebar. I tried using the Products Meta Data Filer with the attribute slug, attribute meta key from the termmeta table and taxonomy name from the term_taxonomy table, alternatively, but have had no luck. However, I have been successful with custom fields I created with advanced customs fields plugin (Transmission, engine capacity, mileage, etc) by using their meta keys.

I need help to make this work. I’m using the latest copy of the free version.

I have combed through your getting started guide, documentation, feature list, tutorials, troubleshooting guide, the video on the plugin page of WordPress repository and the plugin’s WordPress support page but can’t find a solution.

    Regards.

    Hello Felix,

The page that you’ve linked doesn’t have any activated annasta Filters on it. From what I can see you are using a different filters plugin, so please address your questions to its respective publisher.

I’m very sorry for the inconvenience. I had deactivated your plugin. You can take a look now. You can see below your plugin filters that I was able to display filters for “Accepted payment methods” and “Colour” using the other plugin. It is the same thing I want to achieve with your plugin (I do prefer your plugin).

    Regards.

    Hello again Felix,

I checked the page again, and because the frontend-only access considerably limits my investigative powers, please first try these:

    1. Temporarily deactivate any other filtering plugins.
    2. Go to the filters preset settings, and try deleting and then re-adding one of the filters in question (say, Colours). Don’t make any changes to the default settings of the filter, save the preset and test to see if this resolves the issue (reload the shop page).

If the above doesn’t work, you are welcome to contact me by mail (or via our contact form) for a deeper look into your attributes filters.

Ok, I finally got this working. I had been using the Products Meta Data Filter and adding the attribute slug to the “Meta data name” field. Today there was an update, and after updating, I cleared browser and plugin’s products count cache, deleted the previously added attribute filters. When I went to re-add them, I found the attributes in the list of available filters, which I added and everything is working fine now. I’m not sure if the attributes appeared in the filter list only after the update or they were there all along but I didn’t notice them.

    Felix,

I am glad to hear that the issue got resolved on its own, perhaps after all it was just some weird caching thing.

    My best regards!
