Woocommerce Product Categories

Hi

I have a little issue with my Woocommerce site for client. I initially created a test Category before creating all the correct Categories.

Now I want to remove the Test Category and it says in the “Categories” area with q question mark – “This is the default category and it cannot be deleted”.

That doesn’t help me much as it is displaying in my Sidebar Widget menu. I can’t remove the Category for some reason, and I though if there were NO products in there, then it wouldn’t display, but that theory didn’t work either.

How on earth do I remove it ? I think it is from one of the latest Woocomerce upgrades where I have noticed on previous clients that it normally brings in a new Category called “Uncategorised” .. but this is what I have instead.

Any help on how on earth to remove it URGENTLY would be great. As it doesn’t look good having that there !

Unless I rename it to a New Category could be my only workaround I think ….
Haven’t tried that yet.
