    Hi all,

I’ve successfully managed to follow this guide: https://stackoverflow.com/questions/72657663/woocommerce-product-grid-individual-background-color
To add a custom field in admin on the product where I can select a bg color, to save it and to apply it at the product detail page behind the product image itself.

However, I can’t figure out how to apply it at the product category list.
I suppose, the third part does not work as its not a single product id that can be retrieved.

If anyone can give me a hand, it would be much appreciated???

  • Hi @bpong

    Thanks for reaching out!

I understand that you are using the custom code on this link to add a custom field in the admin page wherein you can select a background color for the product details page, however, you can’t figure out how to apply it to the product category list, correct?

This is a bit of a complicated topic that would need some customization to address. Unfortunately, custom coding is not something we can assist with directly. However, I’ll keep this thread open for a bit to see if anyone from the community can lend a hand.

If you have any other questions related to development or custom coding, don’t hesitate to reach out to some of the great resources we have available for support. The WooCommerce community is filled with talented open-source developers, and many of them are active on the channels listed below:

    Hope this helps!
