After running the media cleaner, we lost all of our product brochures (link is just one example of all of the products that had the same issue). The PDFs are added via Product -> Media & Files -> Documents. After we restored the files from the trash, the relationships are back. But the plugin appears to think that these documents/PDFs aren’t being used. Is this a known issue? Or what are we doing wrong? Help!

    Hi @vemondliventus,

Are you using a specific plugin to be able to add PDFs to your products?

For your information, Media Cleaner needs to know every use case possible with images; so that’s what I am spending my days on ?? Adding support for new plugins and new use cases to make it perfect.

    Hi, Jordy.

Thanks for getting back to me so quickly. I forget to add that detail. It’s via Advanced Custom Fields. We have it as a title (text) and a file within a group. Let me know if you need any more info. Much appreciated!

    Hi @vemondliventus,

ACF is only supported in the Pro Version, are you using it? If yes, please contact me directly ??

If you are not using the Pro Version, you don’t get a warning in the Cleaner Dashboard? Normally, it should detect ACF and give you some warnings.

    Hi @tigroumeow,

We are not using the Pro version. Yet.

I just reran the scan of the media library, and I did not see a warning.

Are you saying that the removal of these PDFs, which are added via ACF, may be an expected side-effect of using the free version? If so, that’s fine. I just want to make sure I understand what the “issue” is here.

    Thanks!

    Hi @vemondliventus,

Oh my god, first time I use the Gutenberg editor in the WordPress forums, it’s actually not very well integrated! ??

That’s strange there are no warnings, but at the same time, there are only warnings when I know about the specific plugin. That said, ACF should appear as a warning, are you sure you don’t have any in the Cleaner Dashboard?

But yes, ACF is only handled in the Pro, so please try to contact me directly with me if you have an issue related to it.
