Woocommerce product search widget not translated

  • Hi Woo Team,

    I have integrated the woocommerce product widget in my top-bar widget area. Works so far fine but is not translated in german (search for products). Cannot find it in transiflex.
    How can this being fixed?
    I need for Search for products – Produkte suchen

    A quick solution is very appreciated!!

  • I have exactly the same problem. I think the most recent update lost some of the language hooks – I’m having trouble even hard coding the translations into the PHP-files.

    Further more the translations for “next page” and “prev page” isn’t working either.

    So I found where you can hard code it:

    wp-content/plugins/woocommerce/templates/product-searchform.php

    I’d had no luck trying to translate the pagination “next page” and “previous page” though.

    I found the product-searchform.php file but can you explain me please what string I need to modify to change the “Search” text from inside the search box into “Caut?” (in Romanian language) ?
