    Not sure if this is a bug or was it just me. When I duplicated Woocommerce product, even though I had set it to not copy slug, after saving the product, the slug was saved as xxx.xxx/original-slug-2

  • Hi @dean-loh,
    are you sure you are using my plugin?
    Woocommerce has a built-in duplication feature (enabled out of the box) which is recommended over my plugin (which you have to enable for the “Products” post type, otherwise it won’t work) because it copies all the related data, e.g. variations, which my plugin ignores.

    Let me know!

    Greetings,

    I am having the same issue trying to duplicate posts. After duplication, it will not let me alter the post slug in any way. This just started happening after upgrading to WP 5.4.

    Note: I noticed that I can duplicate and alter slugs on posts I created prior to the WP 5.4 update. I am having problems with duplicating and altering slugs to posts I created after the WP 5.4 update.

    Very odd, I have used this great plugin for years across multiple sites and never encountered an issue before.

    Hi @infobeckettgraphics,
    sorry to hear about this issue. Just to understand since the original poster was mentioning Woocommerce products: are you talking about those or the problem is happening on regular posts?
    Are you using any plugin that could be doing anything slug-related, like any SEO or redirection plugin?

    let me know!
