WooCommerce Product Tags

  • Great plugin, however, we organise some products by product tag (specifically using tags for grouping products by brand name, as an example) as the products belong to several categories this wouldn’t work for us on some occassions. I can see in the product setting to apply by category, could this plugin include the ability to restrict by tag?

    Product Dependencies does not support this case at the moment. As you mentioned, while you can create dependencies based on Categories, it is not possible to create dependencies based on product tags.

    I can definitely understand that this feature might be very useful for your use case (and for other store owners as well). However, we do not have any plans to add any new features to this mini-extension in the near future.

    With that said, if this functionality is urgent for you, it is necessary to write a fair amount of custom code to achieve the desired result.
