WooCommerce Product Widget

    The Elementor plugin will not allow me to display a single specific WooCommerce product within a page. The widget default displays a column of 4 products and does not give the option to select a specific product in the content editor. This is the very specific reason I finally decided to try this plugin once again after seeing this done on a youtube tutorial. I have considered using this plugin before as I have built numerous sites but each time I end up wasting a lot of time trying to make the plugin do the things I’ve come across in the research I do before I use a plugin. Very frustrating indeed. Can you explain to me why this is not functioning the way it did here https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4h5omY0XQMI
    Am I going to have to uninstall once again?

  • Hi Jerrilynn,

    I see you are using the Hestia theme, I never used it before, but could it be that theme does not play well with elementor?

    Also I can not detect Elementor Pro in the sourcecode of your website?
    Woocommerce widgets are in the Pro version.https://docs.elementor.com/article/96-woocommerce-widget

    That might explain you are now not able to replicate the video, because you need the pro version for that?

    You might want to try using the OceanWP theme, it plays well with Elementor and Woocommerce and in the pro version of this theme are lots of cool options for woocommerce as well.

    Thank you Annie for the reply. I assumed it might be either a theme issue or an upgrade to premium issue but thought I’d try. Thanks also for the recommendation to switch to the OceanWP theme. I’ll take a look at it; as much as I like the layout of the Hestia theme I’m finding a number of small functionality issues that eat too much time trying to force to say it’s a positive experience overall.
