Woocommerce Products and Checkout

  • In the pro version, does the Woocommerce functionality have the ability to set certain products to be age-restricted (but still allowing shoppers to see the products) and if any of those products are added to the cart, only then it displays the age verification at checkout?

    Hi @humanatv,

    There isn’t a pro version of this plugin so I guess the short answer is no.

    Longer version, it’s not quite how the plugin is set up, but I really like the idea of it. Could almost do an “only age gate at checkout” option if it’s a product.

    I’ll have to dig into the WC docs and see how easy it is to get the products at checkout at a time where you could then do the age check.

    You could also use the user registration plugin that adds an age check to registration forms. It would be “always” or “never” at present though.
