Hi team, our client has emailed saying that 90% of their WooCommerce products are showing up as orphaned content.

We had a developer build this site using Beaver Builder, Beaver Themer, and WooPack and WP All Import to import products. This developer has since disappeared, so we cannot pick his brains.

I ran a site audit and it mentions that there is no internal linking to any of the products.

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

    Hello @volumedesign,

I’m sorry but I’m not sure if I fully understand the problem here, can you please elaborate?

Generally speaking, these orphan products could be variants with no parent.

You can find an option to delete these in WooCommece > Status > Tools.

Please make sure to make a backup of the site before doing so just in case things go wrong.

Look forward to hearing back from you.

    Hi @ucarman2002

i am having the same issue. If i delete these orphaned variations. will i also be deleting my published products

I see that you’re encountering the same problem with orphaned variations in your WooCommerce products.

To answer your question, you won’t be deleting your published products if you remove these orphaned variations. Orphaned variations are typically product variations that have lost their link to the main product, often due to a glitch or error. So, removing them shouldn’t affect your current, published products.

However, it is always a good practice to create a backup of your full site and database before making any significant changes. This way, if something does go wrong, you can restore your site to its previous state.

If you continue to face issues or need more help, I kindly ask you to start a ?? new topic in our support forum.
