  • Hi @mikeestonanto,

    Thank you for reaching out!

Could you please provide some more details about the issue?

Is there an associated error in your debug logs, or any other information of that nature that led WooCommerce Support to suggest the bug is inside WCML?

Could you also please confirm that you have installed the latest versions of all the required plugins?

If you’ve not opened a ticket in our Support Forums yet, I would suggest you do so, since you are reporting what sounds like a confirmed issue. You can share the ticket URL with me here to follow up on it.

    hello @izzih ,
Woocommerce suggested to deactivate all plugins one by one, so when we deactivated woocommerce multilingual the product category now is saving. Will an updated one solved it? because I have version 4.9.1 and I can’t update it because it’s saying “Update Failed: undefined”.

    Hi @mikeestonanto,

Yes, very possibly, the issue is that WooCommerce Multilingual is not updated.

The Update Failed message suggests an issue with the Site Key. This can happen when you’ve migrated your website from another location or similar. If you continue to see this when trying to update one of our plugins from the Dashboard, please open a chat on wpml.org so that we can take a closer look.

Since WCML is a free plugin, you can download the latest version here:
    https://www.ads-software.com/plugins/woocommerce-multilingual/

Then, you can either upload it through the Dashboard, or FTP, and activate the new version.

    Best,
    Izzi

    Hello @izzih ,
I have done what you have said but it says “duplicate installation”. Can I just delete the old one and upload the new one without damaging anything? Thank you.

    Hi @mikeestonanto,

As of WordPress v5.5, you should have the option to update an old plugin by uploading a new one as I mentioned. If you’re on an older WP version, I’d recommend updating WP in a staging environment as you may run into other issues when you do update it eventually.

    Yes, you can:
    – Delete the old plugin from Plugins
    – Upload the new plugin from Plugins -> Add New
    – Activate the new plugin from Plugins

I would recommend getting a backup, just in case something goes wrong, but you shouldn’t have any loss of translations or anything like that by using the Dashboard.

    Best,
    Izzi

    Hi there,
Can someone help me about this? https://nimb.ws/HIZ0js I am only using free version so I can’t update those. Thank you.

    Hi,

WooCommerce Multilingual requires those plugins in order to work. This is just a compatibility plugin that allows WordPress Multilingual to work with WooCommerce.

Please purchase a Multilingual CMS subscription in order to receive updates for our core plugins:
    https://wpml.org/purchase/

If you wouldn’t mind, could you please share where you downloaded those plugins from?

    Thank you!

    Hi @mikeestonanto,

I also noticed your plugins are very outdated (at least four versions).

As such, you really should purchase and update everything, even if you’re able to fix your current issues without it. You’re vulnerable to security and other issues and we will not be able to provide support for outdated versions either.

    Hi @izzih ,

Thanks for your support, I will ask my client how did he add/downloaded these ad-ons.
Will share an update soon. Thank you.

    No problem @mikeestonanto!

If you’re working with a client, it’s possible they purchased a subscription a long time ago and let it expire since their site was working fine till now.

Once they purchase a subscription, they can add you to their wpml.org account:
    https://wpml.org/announcements/2020/09/add-other-people-to-your-wpml-cms-or-agency-account

Then you’ll be able to download updates and start tickets in our Support Forums:
    https://wpml.org/account/downloads/
    https://wpml.org/forums/forum/english-support/

    Have a great day!

    Best,
    Izzi
