woocommerce products changing to hidden when updated

  • I am using Woocommerce and the theme Mantra. (I have thought tried this with a number of themes, and the problem remains.) When I add or edit simple products, the Catalog Visibility changes to Hidden when I update. The only way I can then change it to Catalog/Search is to then go into Quick Edit. It is really annoying. Oddly enough, for variable products this does not happen, only with the simple products. Any help appreciated.

    Is this the Mantra theme you are referring to https://www.ads-software.com/themes/mantra/?

    I just tried it on a clean WP and Woocommerce install and works just fine. My simple products are not changed to Hidden when updated or published.

    If you already tried switching to a different theme, then this could be a plugin conflict issue. You can you try disabling other plugins and leaving just Woocommerce active. Let me know how it goes. Cheers!

    Hi – I have been through all of the plug ins, and yes, it is the Woocommerce Gift Card that is causing the problem. When this is deactivated, I don’t have the issue. So for the time being, when I am adding or amending products I will have to deactivate the plug in, then reactivate. All rather annoying. I will contact the author and let him know what is happening. Thank you.
