I know this reply probably comes a bit late. But I have purchased Ares Pro and I am having the exact same problems with the shop page.
No matter which template I select it always displays with a right sidebar. The product catalogue also does not render to the pixel size I set, and I have having several problems with the checkout.
SmartCat support is completely and utterly useless, firstly claiming that my emails through the contact form on their website went into the spam folder (pretty appalling for a company that sells website themes) and their customer service team don’t bother to read your emails properly, giving you advice on a completely different subject that the one you emailed them about for support.
If you found any answers to your problem since posting this I would be very interested in your results as I am getting quite frustrated with this theme.
