Woocommerce Registration Privacy Policy

    Hello!
    I updated GDPR plugin yesterday. In see in my website in the Woocommerce register form 2 equal check boxes “You read and agreed to our Privacy Policy”. How Can I edit these boxes? Because when I click on “Privacy Policy”, opens new log with My account page, not with my policies. I don`t see where can I edit this. Thanks

  • Yes, the Privacy Policy text links to the My Account page for me as well, and it’s not only on the registration page. It also shows up when you use the Privacy Settings button where the same string of text is shown.

    Have you guys changed the link in GPDR > Settings > Consents?

    You will see the Privacy Policy consent there with the text you want to update. With it, there’s the markup of the link. You are probably just missing the URL. A link without an URL is the same as linking to the current page.

    Ahh, yes, that was the issue. Apologies, hadn’t even noticed the URL! I assumed it was automatically generated based on the Privacy page selection in the General section.

    I can’t auto-generate that because when you activate the plugin I don’t know which is the Privacy Policy Page.

    I can probably get around this after I get the setup wizard going, but for now, you should just go in there and type your own text and add the link.
