    Hello!

I have to enter a lot of data ininventory and I can’t import it with a .csv. I need to enter it manually. It is the same info for the most of the data so I tried to duplicate a inventory with duplicate post, but it does not clone all information. Only title and some info. Is there a setting I can change to clone all the informations? There is a lot of checked box in element to copy… I tried too with new draft, but I don’t have the info…

    Do you have any ideas?

    Hi,

Could you let us know what plugin you are using to create your inventory? We’d need specific steps on how to reproduce this issue to see if it can indeed be cloned with the Yoast Duplicate plugin, so if you can provide us with some screenshots and steps, this would be helpful. Please make sure you are using the latest version of Yoast Duplicate Post v3.2.6.

Also, under the WP admin dashboard > Settings (sidebar) > Duplicate Post > Permissions > Enable for these post types, are you able to select the Inventory if this is generated as a CPT?

Inventory is created with the plugin woocommerce booking and rental here

We had a license with the plugin.

To created inventory, I click WP dashboard>Inventory>All inventory
Create new form(not sure if I had the right traduction I use it in french so…)
I add inventory, day range price(4 entries) and hourly range price(1 entry).

And I saved. When I clone it(or new draft) I only have the title…

I use the last version 3.2.6. In the plugin settings, permission is granted for inventory. I can click on clone or new draft for this type of post.

    The elements to copy

    • Title
    • excerpt
    • content
    • featured image
    • model
    • format
    • menu order
    • children(I checked this one at the end just to try )
    • Other are not checked…

    Hi,

We are not sure if the duplicate post plugin will work with this Booking and Rental one. We would like some more information.

Can you take screenshots of how you have set-up the different parts of the Booking and Rental plugin on the backend? Can you take screenshots of what it looks like in the different WooCommerce sections? See image: https://ibb.co/F52QBn1.

You can use a tool like: https://ibb.co/ to share the image.

The plugin create a menu inventory in WP dashboard:
    https://ibb.co/6nHf1Bw

I click on “Ajouter un nouveau formulaire” to add a new inventory.
    https://ibb.co/R6btf1S
This is where I add info about how much is the rental (day/hour range or per hour/day).

Then, I modify the product inventory in the product settings not in rental and booking plugin… :

    https://ibb.co/2832Ssy

Before I chose an inventory for the product, it say:, “You don’t have any inventory with this product. This product in not bookable”. It is normal.

I can clone or new draft(nouveau brouillon) and element in inventory…

    Hi @zanicom,

From what you described, the process you’re using involves multiple steps and you need to link data from multiple plugins together. This sounds like it may be a bit out of the scope of the features in the Duplicate Post plugin.

Because we’re not familiar enough with how these plugins interact, we recommend contacting the Booking and Event plugin developers to see if it’s possible to add compatibility with the Duplicate Post feature or you’re welcome to provide us with a feature request with more details.
