I am trying to download reports from Woocommerce analytics and nothing shows up in my email box. More specifically I am trying to DL product sales from last year under Woocommerce Analytics Products. I filter the date to last year and click download. “Your Products Report will be emailed to you” shows at the bottom of the screen yet nothing is ever sent. I have waited days already for the report and have tried other reports but nothing is ever sent.

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

I installed WP Mail Logging and sent a test email from my email customizer and the email went through. Also, the email being sent was captured by WP Mail Logging in the logs and is received in my email box. When I try to download my report from Analytics Reports nothing is sent and nothing shows in the Logs.

    Hi @meatface888

Thanks for reaching out about this, just to clarify, when you go to Analytics > Products, filter them then select download as seen on this screenshot: https://snipboard.io/XLB1ER.jpg is it not downloading immediately instead saying “Your Products Report will be emailed to you”?

If that’s the case, it might be because the data is too large and spans more than one page of the table, as mentioned here. Can you also confirm if the email you’re checking is linked to your WordPress.com account?

Note that you have more than one Admin on your site, the currently logged-in Admin who initiates the download should receive the report.

Yes that is the download button I am referring to. The email is not being sent as WP Mail Logging confirms this.

Emails do work as I can send a test email from the email customizer.

The report is being created and I found it through my file manager wp-content > uploads > woocommerce_uploads > reports

It just doesn’t get sent out. The report is also missing the header information at the top of the table like description, sku, # sold, # in inventory…

    Hello meatface888,

    Thank you for your reply.

The report is also missing the header information at the top of the table like description, sku, # sold, # in inventory

This sounds like something is interrupting the process and it is terminated without completing.
Usually, this is caused by a plugin conflict. I suggest you perform a Conflict Test to find out if this problem persists in the default environment. Then process further to determine what is causing the issue.

Also, check for any errors under WooCommerce > System Status > Logs.
If you find any error logs, share them with me.

Lastly, please share your site’s System Status Report with me.
You can paste it into https://pastebin.com and share the link here.

Looking forward to your response. ??

I made a staging site and disabled all the plugins. Upgraded CoDesigner to v4.7.17.2 and this went ok. I activated Elementor then CoDesigner but when I activated CoDesigner Pro I recieved message “Plugin could not be activated because it triggered a fatal error”. The issue is with CoDesigner Pro v4.5.3

    Fatal Errors:

Critical Uncaught TypeError: Cannot access offset of type string on string in /home/customer/www/staging2.3dlabtech.ca/public_html/wp-content/plugins/woolementor/vendor/pluggable/marketing/src/Deactivator.php:43

Sorry the above info was for another ticket I have with CoDesigner crashing after updates. I deactivated all the plugins but left WP Mail Logging on and tried to download the report again. Nothing shows in the log so I don’t think it’s any plugin that is affecting this.

Nothing new in the log for fatal errors when I try to send report.

    Hello meatface888,

    Thank you for your reply.

I understand you deactivated all plugins except WP Mail Logging and saw no changes in the log or fatal errors when trying to send the report.

To confirm, did you also disable Elementor and CoDesigner plugins?

Previously, you mentioned the CSV file is missing header information like description, SKU, and inventory.
Could you check again using File Manager if the new file is still created without the headers?
I am trying to determine if there is any change in the site’s behavior after disabling the plugins.

Looking forward to your response. ??

WooCommerce and WP Mail Logging are the only 2 plugins active when I did the test. Headers are still missing from the report. When I look at the report files there are 2 files created. The headers are put into a separate file with “.headers” at the end of the file name.

    Hello meatface888,

    Thank you for your reply.

I cannot reproduce the error, and the information available at the moment is not enough to determine what is causing the problem.

To diagnose this further I suggest enabling debug mode in the wp-config.php file of WordPress.
Here is a guide for how to enable debug mode and error log.
After this step try downloading reports from Woocommerce analytics again and then check for the debug.log file under the wp-content directory of your WordPress instance.

Please share your findings with me so I can assist you further.

    Best regards.
