    Hi there!

I’m having the issue with the REGULAR price not showing up (with a strike-through) on my product page:
    https://xavierjouve.com/product/colours-of-aix-2/

For example, it does show up under Collection for the same product:
    https://xavierjouve.com/product-category/colours-of-aix/

I have the “Woo Discount Rules” extension for WooCommerce set up and in there, it is set that the Strikeout price should show on the product page.

Please advise on how I can add it in there as I had spent 2 hours messing around with the price.php file. As a note, I’d also like to make sure that the products that are not on sale, do not have it.

    Thanks!
    Nal K.

@nkosir There are two things I suggest testing:

First, I’d disable the Discount Rules plugin you mentioned. Once disabled, try setting a sale price on a regular product that isn’t using functionality added by a third party plugin. Does it work then, without the discount rules?

If that doesn’t help, while keeping the same setup, please switch the theme of your site to the free Storefront theme. Does that change things at all?

We recommend that these steps are taken on a staging site, which is a clone of your live site that you can modify without risking making any permanent damage to your live site. You can create it using a plugin like WP-Staging: https://www.ads-software.com/plugins/wp-staging/

This plugin lets you copy and redeploy a WordPress site with minimal work.

    I hope this helps!

Thanks Fernando, the functionality did not work prior to adding the Woo Discount Rules plugin unfortunately. So it might seem that the theme is interfering here – I’ll reach out to their support first!

That sounds like a good idea. However, before reaching out to them you might want to verify if it is indeed the theme that is causing the error. That way you can be certain of the source before reporting it to their theme.

To verify that, you’ll want to temporarily switch to the Storefront theme, preferably in a staging site as shared in the instructions above.

We haven’t heard back from you in a while, so I’m going to mark this as resolved – if you have any further questions, you can start a new thread.
