WooCommerce sending emails to old orders

Are you using a plugin to handle shipping and send tracking numbers?

To further check into this, kindly provide us the following:

• Your System Status: You can find it via WooCommerce > Status. Select ‘Get system report’ and then ‘Copy for support’. Once you do this, paste in here your response.
• Fatal Error Log: Share a copy of any fatal error log found under WooCommerce > System Status > Logs (if available).

Hi, Thanks for the quick reply. I use Advanced Shipment Tracking for WooCommerce by Zorem to add the tracking Information.

Logs: There are no logs under WooCommerce -> Status -> Logs

No I didn’t do anything apart from process the new orders by adding the tracking information which also sets the order to shipped.

I’ve checked under WooCommerce -> Status -> Logs and there are no logs saved.

Emails are sent according to the setup under WooCommerce > settings > Emails. Unless there is a bug or plugin conflict.

By default, a customer receives the Order Processing email when payment is received, or Order On Hold for payment methods such as “bank transfer”. Also once the order is completed, the customer should get the Completed order email.

How did you add the tracking information to the orders? Was this made using another plugin?

I use the plugin Advanced Shipment Tracking for WooCommerce to add tracking information.

In order to seek to resolve this and to know if it happens again I have now installed the WP Mail Logging plugin so I can track all sent emails. I have also now removed the Advanced Shipment Tracking for WooCommerce plugin as I think this may have caused the problem.
