I am trying to use WooCommerce PayPal Checkout Gateway with Woocommerce Services to configure Paypal Payment using just the Paypal Mail, but when I try to save the mail in the configuration it is not saving. Fields is empty after refresh. Activating the logs did not help.

    Hey there!

This is likely due to too much data being saved on the post. We have a post here to help solve this(https://docs.woothemes.com/document/problems-with-large-amounts-of-data-not-saving-variations-rates-etc/). In most cases, this gets resolved by simply increasing max_input_vars to something like 2000 or more. WP Max Submit Protect(https://www.ads-software.com/plugins/wp-max-submit-protect/) is a great plugin you could use to determine how high it needs to be.

Once you’ve tested that, let us know here if that’s not the issue.

Hello, I tried raising the max_input_vars to 10000 and installing the plugin. It did not help. I also tried disabling some plugins like wordfence.

    Hi again!

Thanks for the update. This now sounds more like a scripting conflict; I’d recommend trying the steps here: https://docs.woocommerce.com/document/how-to-test-for-conflicts/

If you temporarily disable all plugins except PayPal Checkout Gateway, WooCommerce Services, Jetpack and WooCommerce core, and switch themes to something like Twenty Nineteen, are you able to save changes to the mail configuration under those conditions?

Even disabling the plugins did not work.

The good news is I managed to solve the problem: there might have been something wrong with the entry “woocommerce_ppec_paypal_settings” in the Options table: I manually replaced it with an older version and then I could finally change the setting.

Thanks anyway to all of you for the help.

Hi @spesknight – I’m so glad you were able to sort that out! Thanks for updating us with the solution.

I’ll mark this thread as resolved now. If you have any further questions, I recommend creating a new thread.
