I’ve enable the new user & password reset email template but it still sending the default welcome email. It’s the email with the content:

To set your password, visit the following address:….

I can customize the welcome email but need to install separate plugin. If only yaymail can include the template for this simple wp welcome email, that will be great.

    Hi @lamanrasmi,

Sorry that our plugin cannot help you customize WordPress’s new Account template.

It is because YayMail is an extension to support WooCommerce emails only, including WooCommerce’s New Account templates.

However, I will forward this feature suggestion to our dev team, and maybe in future we might be able to customize WordPress’s email templates too.

    Hope that clarifies!

    Regards,
    Bruce

I think it should be included too since the settings was in woocommerce Account settings. WordPress does not have this setting. The checkbox where it says “When creating an account, send the new user a link to set their password”.

    Hi @lamanrasmi,

Certainly, the setting you are talking about is associated with WooCommerce’s New Account template, and so the template would be triggered when a customer is checking out on the site, and then chooses to register a new account.

But WordPress’s New Account cannot work with YayMail for customization for now.

    Regards,
    Bruce
