Woocommerce setup wizard gets stuck

    Hi,
    I’m installing WooCommerce on my website and it’s stuck on the wizard ?page=wc-admin&path=%2Fsetup-wizard. I proactively deactivated the Wordfence security plugin. I’ve uninstalled, reinstalled WC, same results. I tried resetting the Wizard, same result.

    When I clicked on settings and filled in Store Address I noticed that the number to the right of Home changed from (5) to (4), I assume filling in the Store Address was one of the topics the wizard helps with.

    How important is the Wizard? Can it be fixed? If not, how can I disable it?

If you’re unable to complete the wizard, you can still use WooCommerce by manually configuring your store settings.

    Regarding the issue you’re experiencing, it seems that the wizard is stuck on the ?page=wc-admin&path=%2Fsetup-wizard page even after resetting it and reinstalling WooCommerce. This could be due to a conflict with another plugin or theme on your site.

    To troubleshoot this issue, I recommend disabling all plugins except for WooCommerce and switching to a default WordPress theme like Twenty Twenty-One. Then, try running the setup wizard again. If it works, you can reactivate your plugins and switch back to your original theme one by one until you find the one causing the conflict.

    You can also try clearing your browser cache and cookies before running the setup wizard again.

    Hi Mirko,

    Thanks for the confirmation that the Wizard could be skipped.

    That it got stuck made me less confident in the sites stability. So I installed WC on a different host and had no problems whatsoever. I’m going with the second host.
