    HI

I am setting up a woo commerce website.
I am currently adding the shipping rates. Different UK postcodes have different flat rates.
I have listed the beginning of the postcode plus an * For example, I have written AL* for St ALbans.
Two areas, do not cover the whole postcode area at the same price. For example PO covers Portsmouth area except for the Isle of Wight. I have listed these as more detailed postcodes. For example, PO30 is the Isle of Wight and has a more expensive rate.
When I try to test that the postcodes are working, some are and others are not. Even when they are listed in the same group and under the same flat rate.
Would be grateful of any ideas

    Hi there,

Admittedly I don’t fully understand the issue here – would you mind sharing a screenshot of how you have those postcodes configured and then a sample postcode that we can use to test with from our side?

    Thanks!

You have the postcodes entered in the Shipping Zone?

For the PO examples you need to be careful how you format them:

    PO1* – will be PO1 1AA, PO10, PO11 etc
PO1 * – will ONLY be PO1 postcodes – notice the space between the 1 and the *

    So you would need:

    PO3 * – for St Albans
PO30* – for Isle of Wight
