woocommerce shop is displaying products twice

Hi,

Please can someone help me. I have just added a woocommerce shop to my site and for some reason it’s displaying my products twice – at the top is a list with 3 products across and over several pages, and below it is a list of all products, 4 products across. In appearance-customize-woocommerce-product catalog I have it set to show 4 across, products only. It looks stupid with the products listed twice (and the top list is a bit ugly too), but I’ve tried changing theme (I’m currently twenty sixteen, but I’ve tried twenty twenty), I’ve tried disabling all non-woocommerce plugins, I’ve tried having it display products and cataogories, just catagories etc and I’ve made sure everything is as up to date as it can be and nothing seems to help.

I’m not a developer, so please treat me as an idiot in any reply!
