Woocommerce Shop Page Not displaying Products

    Hello. On My WooCommerce Shop page I have added text and product shortcodes via the Classic Editor (I do not use blocks). Then two days ago, out of the blue (FYI I changed nothing on my website), all the text and products disappeared from my WooCommerce Shop page. I scoured the internet trying to find solutions. I double-checked that my WooCommerce settings under the Customize > Product Catalog where correctly set to show Categories and Products. I emptied my cache. I deactivated my plugins one by one to see what was causing the conflict. The conflict was WooCommerce. When I deactivated WooCommerce my text reappeared but the products that should have been there via the shortcode I am using were still missing. What I discovered that for some reason, having my Shop page specified under WooCommerce > Settings > Products > Shop Page was what was causing the issued. For now, I have set the shop page to a different page (https://collectiblesandmoreinstore.com/announcements/) so that my Shop page displays the way I need it to. But now my Announcements page is messed up.

    I just noticed that because the Shop page was messed up, the product search results are also messed up. Therefore, I changed the WooCommerce Shop Page in settings to https://collectiblesandmoreinstore.com/search-results (instead of https://collectiblesandmoreinstore.com/announcements). I am anxious to get these issues resolved and have my store’s website back to normal. I appreciate your assistance and look forward to your reply soon.

    Hello @melissaod

    I suggest creating a separate page and setting it under WooCommerce > Settings > Products > Shop Page. This way, your Shop page and Announcements page won’t interfere with each other.

    However, you can also leave the shop page setting blank. Simply hit the cross button next to the shop page setting and save your changes.

    Please note that if you set any page as a shop page, the shortcode added to this page won’t function because WooCommerce will override it and load all the products on this page. Also, if you assign another page as your shop page, search engines may index it. Therefore, it could be a wise choice to leave this option open.
