WooCommerce shortcode incompatibility?

My website is running WooCommerce with the Storefront theme. If I create a post which includes the [products] shortcode then an entry appears in the recently viewed pages list with the post title but the associated link is to the website home page rather than to the post itself. The same problem does not occur using the [product_categories] shortcode. See https://www.reallycleverhomes.co.uk/solutions/listen-bluetooth-enabled-device-proper-speakers/ for an example.
The same problem arises if a page contains the [starbox] shortcode.
