When you are logged in the sort and paginate work perfect, however if you are not logged in when you click on any sort it tries to go to /shop/page/2/ which comes up 404. When paginate is active, if you click the 2 on the paginate it tries to go to /shop/?product-page=2, which then automatically goes back to /shop/ and shows only the first 12 products.

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

  • Hello @irishmugger,

    Thank you for reaching out.

I understand you’re experiencing issues with sorting and pagination on your WooCommerce shop page.

Upon trying to click on the next page whilst logged out, the next button only refreshed your page and did not move to the next page.

Did you already have the chance to run a conflict test, as it is likely this could be due to a conflict with your theme or one of your plugins? If you haven’t already, you can try disabling all plugins except for WooCommerce to see if the issue persists. If it does, try switching to a default theme like Twenty Twenty-Four or Storefront.

You may find more details on running a conflict test from this guide.

Let us know how this goes.

Thanks for reaching out. The theme is a custom theme and has not been updated in about 6 months since I wrote it. I use ACF so most of the home page is custom. As for plugins I have turned them all off except Woocommerce and it still does it.

Thank you for sharing further details on this issue @irishmugger.

Did you already have the chance to test out with a default theme (i.e. Storefront or Twenty Twenty-Four)? If not, I recommend testing out with a default theme while having all your plugins deactivated.

You can use a staging site to avoid messing your custom coded design.

Please let us know how it goes.

I found and fixed the issue. Yoast SEO is in conflict with WooCommerce. I turned of Yoast and added All in One SEO and fixed the issue.

Glad to hear it @ckadenge – thanks for letting us know!

If you have a few minutes, we’d love if you could leave us a review:?https://www.ads-software.com/support/plugin/woocommerce/reviews/.

    Cheers!
