Woocommerce sort by price low to high variation issue

I just did some testing on my demo site, and found that it does use the variation’s lowest price when sorting. So that is curious that the same isn’t happening for you.

Try temporarily switching back to the WordPress Twenty Sixteen Theme, or Storefront, and disable all plugins except for WooCommerce. If that resolves the issue, then slowly re-enable features until you find the one that’s causing the conflict.

I’m not using any plugins that could affect this and it was working. Is there anyway I can enforce the sorting of the products by default other than selecting the sorting options on the settings of WC -> Display?

I updated the product and it was fixed.

Were these imported some other way than manual entry?

Not at all.

Hmm, not sure what could have caused this then. My advice would be to just bulk edit all variable product and quick save them. That should help resolve the issue you are having.

Same issue here. This seems to be a WooCommerce bug.

If it were a bug myself and caleb would see the same thing. It’s a data issue if it resolves after save,

I’m finding that where the price of the cheapest variation is entered as an integer (e.g. 89), the product drops to the end of the sort order. If I change the price to a decimal, e.g. 89.00) the sort works correctly.

P.S. Some integer price products are sorting correctly (these are all variable products by the way). But entering prices as decimals fixes those that don’t.
