    Hi everyone.

So I’ve noticed that “sort by” doesn’t work when there are multiple categories/tags separated by “+” are in url. I’m using a filter which lets select more than one tag/category to filter items. If I select only one tag/category in the filter then sorting works just fine but when there’s more than one everything crashes. Example:

Two are selected (sorting crashes): https://www.zoop.lt/product-tag/moteriski+bc-collection/

One is selected (sorting works): https://www.zoop.lt/product-tag/bc-collection/

How can I solve this problem? Looking forward to your help.

  • Hi @saulevas

    Thanks for reaching out!

I understand that the built-in Sort by Price is not working when there are multiple selected categories on your product filter, correct?

Checking on this page, I was able to replicate the issue here:

Can you please share how the product filter is added to your site as this is not part of the core functions of WooCommerce?

If this was added thru a third-party plugin or a custom code, it would be best to reach out to the developers for further assistance here.

    Thanks!

Hi. Thank you for your reply. The filters is added as a widget using a plug-in by XforWooCommerce called Product Filter for WooCommerce

    Hi @saulevas ,

Thanks for providing clarity on this!

Since this is being added through a third-party plugin, I’d suggest reaching out to the plugin developers for further help with this, as support for third-party plugins/themes is beyond our scope of support.

After checking, it appears that XforWooCommerce support can be contacted directly, here.

Since further support is required by the plugin developers, I will go ahead and mark this as resolved – feel free to create a new topic should you need any further help.

    Cheers!
