The videos about sorting don’t work for me. I have Default sorting enabled (custom ordering + name) in the Theme customizer.

When the product category page opens, the product order is not identical to what I set in the products > sorting list.

Ok, Plan B is switching to Sort by most recent in the Theme customizer – but the oldest shows first and I see by latest – completely reversed (yes, I checked the date). Switching back and forth between the on-page options, the latest products finally show first.

How can I have a category page open with “Sort by latest” when the Theme customizer is acting up?

    Thanks

  • Hi @sumukha ,

    Thanks for reaching out!

I understand you’re experiencing some issues with your product sorting settings, is this correct?

Please can you share the following so that we can have a better understanding of your current site environment and customizer settings:

    • System Status Report: navigate to WooCommerce → Status. Select Get system report and then Copy for support.
    • Screenshot(s): Please can you share a clear screenshot of the current customizer settings.

If you do not already have a screenshot tool installed, Snipboard.io can be used for easily sharing screenshots. Please follow the instructions on that page, then paste the URL in this thread.

    Cheers!
