    I’m getting the following message on my WP dashboard:
    ‘Heads up! There may be a problem with your connection to Square. In order to continue accepting payments, please disconnect and re-connect your site.’
    However, when I go to the following to disconnect and re-connect:
    Woocommerce Settings > Square Settings ie. (https://[SITE]/wp-admin/admin.php?page=wc-settings&tab=square)
    All I have is the above message followed by the blue ‘Save Changes’ button.

    All of the Square settings should be on this page.
    I have tried deactivating and reactivating the plugin but to no avail.
    I have phoned Square and they have confirmed there are no issues with my Square account on their end.
    Please help.

  • I have the exact same issue today, have tried deactivating all other plugins but still same issue

    Getting the exact same message since Saturday, anyone have an idea how to resolve it?

    Okay here the answer from support
    Hi All,

    We have had several success actions with uninstalling and re-installing Square.

    – Go to WooCommerce > Plugins and verify you have 2.0.1 or 2.0.
    – If you do, disable the plugin, then delete it
    -Make sure you are installing version 1.0.38 from here. Activate it after installing.
    – After this, you will find the settings under WooCommerce > Settings > Integration > Square

    You may see yourself still connected. If you do, disconnect then reconnect, making sure the Business Location is showing. Do a sync if you have products (WC > Square or vice versa, does not matter, just manual sync matters). If you do not have products you can skip the sync, the payment gateway at that time should work.

    If it does not, please show logs of the errors under WooCommerce > Status > Logs if it is having issues processing payments.

    If it is not syncing correctly, check the fatal logs to see if there are ay sync errors there. If there are, please post them here ??

    I was having this same issue, but after updating to the latest 2.0.3, it appears to be resolved with this latest update.

    Upgrading to 2.0.3 fixed it for me too.

    I’ve just had the plugin notification there and it’s not worked for me, should i try signing in and out again?

    It sounds like most folks have resolved the issue, so I’m going to close this thread.

    @missslejeune Did you follow the steps above? If so, and you are still having issues, yes, I would suggest disconnecting stripe and reconnecting.
