I have set a fixed shipping cost in standard shipping, of €7 + 5% on the total with the following formula: 7 + [fee percent=”5″]
Everything has always worked. Today I realize that the result for standard shipping in the cart is crazy. On a ttl order of €18 the result is: “Standard shipping: €900,000,008.50”
    what happens ?

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

    Hi @monica01,

I just tested this on your site and I can confirm the issue. I added a 57,00?€ product and I’m being charged Spedizione Standard: 2.336.065.581,00 € for shipping. Something’s certainly conflicting on your site.

To be sure I ran a quick test on my site and applied the same formula as yours:

And I get the expected results:

That being said, I’d like to learn more about your site. Do you have your WordPress and WooCommerce up to date? Are you using any plugin or code snippet that modifies the shipping or the checkout experience in any way? Have you tried running a conflict test to determine the culprit?

    Kindly let us know!

    Thanks!

    Thanks Omar for Yr reply
I ran all the conflict tests, deactivated plugins, checked the versions (WP 6.5.4 – Woocommerce 9.0.0) everything seems up to date.
I deleted all shipping methods and recreated them. Nothing !
I think the calculation in the source file has been misconfigured: something that also has to do with your taxes. Maybe…
I didn’t enter any snippets or codes: until last week everything was working fine.
I don’t know what to test anymore

    Hi there @monica01,

Thanks for getting back to us with further details.

I think the calculation in the source file has been misconfigured: something that also has to do with your taxes. Maybe…

In order to rule out any misconfigured files, could you please create a staging site and rollback the WooCommerce version using the WP Rollback plugin in the staging site to see if the issue persists or otherwise?

I have the same problem. The problem occurs with odd percentages. If I use percentage numbers equal, the problem disappears

    Hello,
Yes, now by eliminating both the thousands separator and the decimal separator, the?problem is solved. And shipping costs become “affordable” again
    Top Paul !!!!!!!!
    thank you so much
