We have several sites on Pantheon hosting that are showing incorrect values on the WooCommerce status page. For example, phpinfo shows 512MB of memory but WooComm status is showing 1 GB. Or phpinfo says the timeout is 120 seconds but WooComm says it’s 3600. Or the DB is MariaDB 5.4 but WooComm says MySQL 5.5.30. It’s not the same values that are wrong on every site, it varies site to site and even copies of the same site like dev will show one value and test will show another even though the phpinfo on these 2 environments matches. Where do these values come from, and can anyone think of any reason why they would be wrong? We’re running into errors where plugin support people use this page for information but the values they are getting do not match the server.

    Hi there @nhgnikole

    Thank you for contacting us!

I understand you’d like to know why you are seeing a difference in the stats reported by phpinfo vs. the system status report.

I believe WooCommerce uses the default ini_get() function to derive PHP server settings such as post_max_size, memory_limit, etc.

However, PHP settings can be configured on a per-directory basis.

So the values that you see for phpinfo() depends on its current location.

Could you tell us where you are printing the output of phpinfo()? Is it through a PHP file or using a function from within WordPress?

Can you further explain to us using an example system status report and a link outputting the phpinfo() information?
