We run several online shops using Woocommerce and always use the “stock control at product level” facility to ensure we dont advertise something we have sold out of. It works on all our other shops using different themes but in this shop using Neve we have a problem. Regardless of how many units are in stock, when we try to place an order it says “Not enough units are available in stock to fulfill this order.
Any ideas why or how to fix this please? I’ve tried using a separate stock control plugin (ATUM) but it makes no difference.

  • Hi @facialflex,

Could you please double-check that in this specific instance where the problem currently occurs everything works as expected if you switch to the default theme (WordPress TwentyTwenty)?

Let us know how it goes, thank you!

    Thanks Vytis,

That was interesting – I swapped to the theme you suggested but still had the same problem, so I guess it’s not Neve causing the issue!

The set up is the same (as far as I can see) to the other sites we operate so I wonder why it works everywhere else but not on this one.

    Thanks,
    Peter

    Problem solved!
I compared the settings on two stores side by side and realised the only difference was that “Hold Stock” was set for 60 minutes in
    Woocommerce settings:Products:Inventory.
    Disable that and problem solved!
Sorry to have bothered you. ??
