May I know I have enable the stock management in the woocommerce, how does it works?
    1) if there is pending payment , will the stock deduct ?
    2) if the customer cancel the order due to Unpaid order cancelled – time limit reached. will the stock add back to the system ?

I have receive this email 3 units…… have been backordered in order #16817.while I did not allow backordered. and my stock level become -3.
    The situation :
The initial product stock level :3
After the customer place the order it become : -3
Why it will happen and how could I prevent it happen ?

    Hi @esthertan,

For orders that are on Pending Payment status WooCommerce will hold the stock of those pending orders, and when the time limit is reached the order will be canceled and the stock will not be reduced for that product.

So, if it doesn’t seem to be working on your site the way it is expected it could be a configuration of the payment gateway you are specifically using, or it could be a conflict.

I’d suggest carrying out a conflict test on your site by disabling all other plugins aside from WooCommerce along with switching to a theme like Storefront.

This will help with trying to and locate what plugin you have installed which could possibly be causing this behavior. You could also use a free plugin called Health Check and Troubleshooting (https://www.ads-software.com/plugins/health-check/) to carry out such testing.

When in Troubleshooting mode all plugins will be deactivated and only the admin of the site carrying out the troubleshooting would see those changes. Any customers visiting the site would see no changes at all.

Once you have disabled all other plugins and switched theme, if the behavior is resolved, you can then enable your theme first and each plugin one by one and testing after each one is enabled.

To know more about conflict testing see this guide: https://docs.woocommerce.com/document/how-to-test-for-conflicts/.

    Thanks.
