woocommerce stock reduction problem

    A new order was made for 5 items, payment is made, order status is “Processing”.

    however woocommerce only reduced stock for 2 items, the stock of the 3 other items were kept unchanged !!!

    not sure why??

    Please help !

  • Hi @tomcatq8 – Can you include a copy of your system status report? You can find that at: WP Dashboard > WooCommerce > Status > ‘Get system report’

    i made a test order with same items but using “Check payment”
    stocks were reduced for ALL items perfectly !!!

    If I understand it correctly the problem with stock not reducing for new orders is now resolved – correct?

    here is what i found:

    i use WPML for site translation.

    if I use the default language (english) as a customer and place an order, stock is reduced, no problem

    However, if i view my site with the second language (Arabic) and make an order, some stocks get reduced and some (majority) do not.
    in the order page, it clearly state the items which were reduced, for example it would say that item1 and item2 were reduced but make no mention about the other itmes

    turned out it is a WPML issue, products were not synced between languages, had to manually update products to fix this issue.
