Thank you for the system report but whatever is wrong doesn’t stand out for me.

WooCommerce and Storefront on their own can’t do that, so the effect must be coming from one of your other plugins. Temporarily deactivate all the other plugins. That should fix it, then put the plugins back one-by-one and test to try to identify which plugin is causing the additional sections.

Homepage Control ??

There’s a similar plugin called “Storefront Homepage Extra Sections”, though I don’t see either in your list of plugins.

The Homepage Control extension for storefront can be used to turn off or on some of the sections you mention on your homepage

Ah, I understand. And no, I don’t have either of those homepage plugins. I’ll try plugin deactivation tomorrow, see how that goes.

Well, I found the plugin that is causing the problem, and it’s the Woocommerce Services plugin. When it’s deactivated the unwanted images disappear. Unfortunately, so does my ability to sell products. Any suggestions?

Well, I installed Homepage Control, and that did the job! I didn’t realize that a new plugin would deal with an existing issue. Thank-you all! ??
