    Hello,

I have WooCommerce Subscription connected with WooCommerce PayPal Payments. Normal orders are working well, I receive 100% payments and the plugin is good.

The problem is coming with Recurring subscriptions, When there is a subscription product Paypal button does not appear as payment in the WooCommerce Cart. Instead, the other Payments work perfectly (e.g. Stripe)

I have checked and enabled with Paypal the Reference Transactions, but still miss payment button in the cart.

    What am I missing?

PS: If I enable WooCommerce manual renewal, a Paypal button appear on the subscription product cart, but the point is I want WooCommerce work as an automatic subscription (like happen on the best site like Netflix, etc.).

    Hello @mirunchained

Thank you for reaching out to us, we are here to help.

The main setting that can avoid the PayPal button from showing for (automatic) subscription products, is the vaulting option. Please enable this option for the Standard Payments and Advanced Card Processing if you want this to be used for recurring payment options.

If that is not what is causing this issue, we will probably want to take a look at your system report. If you don’t feel comfortable sharing those details on a public forum, please open a ticket with our service desk. You can find the instruction for this here: https://paypal.inpsyde.com/docs/request-support/
(please add the URL of this thread in the ticket as well)

    Kind regards,
    Joost

    Hello @mirunchained

In the plugin settings, you can enable vaulting for the 2 payment methods “Standard Payments” (a.k.a. PayPal) and Advanced Card Processing separately in their setting tabs. You should find the

If you want to read more information about vaulting, please go here.

If the vaulting options are not shown in the settings, you might need to reset the plugin settings, because there has been a bug seen, where the vaulting options are not showing after updating the plugin. You can reset the plugin, by going to the “connection” tab and pressing: Remove PayPal Payments data from Database.

Please let me know if this helps you progress this activity.

    Hello,

Thanks I have enabled Vualting, but it seems that I lose the button Pay Later on the standard product (not subscription).

Is there any way to have both option?

    • Pay Later on standard product
    • Paypal enabled on Subscription product.

    Thanks

    Hello @mirunchained

Unfortunately, you can only use Vaulting or Pay Later; there is no way you can use both of them at the same time. This is a restriction that comes from PayPal, if you want to discuss this situation, you could reach out to PayPal Merchant Support.

Please let me know if you have more questions for me.

    Kind regards,
