Woocommerce Subscriptions payment methods

    Hi

    We’ve integraded both Woocommerce Subscriptions and the Mollie plugin and this seems to be working well.

    However we can only enable creditcard. If we try to enable Bancontact / … we will get an error saying “can’t create bancontact payment”.

    Which payment methods are supported for Woocommerce subscriptions at this moment?

    I read another support ticket where Paypal wasn’t supported either, when will these be made available or is this not something that will change in the future?

    Hi @sinergiostijn,

    To enable subscription functionality for other gateways such as Bancontact, iDeal, giropay, etc. the payment gateway SEPA Direct Debit must be enabled.
    This gateway does not appear in the checkout but instead is used for all subsequent renewal payments after the user created a first payment with a SEPA-based payment method.

    Support for PayPal subscriptions is still being worked on and requires a bit more time before we can share more details. But I can say already the integration will require Reference Transactions to be enabled for the PayPal account in any case.

    I will give it a try by enabling SEPA Direct Debit and will keep you updated if I still run into trouble.

    There is no timeframe for the PayPal subscription integration yet, but I expect this to be worked on after the next release.
    Anyway, we have not heard back from you in a while, so I’m marking this thread as resolved.
