    Thank you, you have found a bug ??
    For some reason the array with tags starts at [9001] and not [0]. So now it loops through them differently.
    And I added a filter for sorting the tag_cloud.
    In my testsite it works. Can you confirm? It’s in 2.5.2.

    Hi Marcel,

    No this still does not resolve the problem for me. If I manually add in ‘orderby’ => ‘term_order’ it changes the order but not as expected. Without this it remains in alphabetical order.

    Hmm, I missed something there.
    In 2.5.3 it should work. Can you confirm?

    For some reason the_tags() function doesn’t always work as expected though…
