I have been using WooCommerce for my site and its a wonderful plugin with lots of variety and options. I have a specific question on the tax which I don’t understand how to implement:
Under the tax setting, there are options for:
    1. Standard rate
    2. Reduced rate
    3. Zero rate

My services on my site require the use of zero rate so I am familiar with its usage and applied it well.
As I am in Canada, I also use the standard rates for the required taxes to be applied which I also implemented and applied well.

Here is my concern: If and when I do decide to introduce a new product (which I will in a month) I am unable to apply a different tax rate as there is no additional option for this customization:

Concern: I am using the zero rate for all other countries except Canada for Product A
When I introduce Product B for all other countries except Canada I do not want zero rate applied.

Potential solution: Is there a rule or a policy that can be applied where you can specify for each product create what tax, and how tax is calculated (shipping or billing). After testing it, at present I noticed the system sets the general rule under tax options for the entire dashboard, it would be great if there is a “rule” that could be applied for specific products based on taxes.

I also noticed there are additional tax classes that can be created, would this apply for my concern (do I need to create an entire tax class for product that I want to be taxed separately.

Appreciate if anyone can throw some light and help me solve my tax query.
