Question – if the customer puts in their sales tax number they should not be charged taxes.

If they don’t have a sales tax number – they should be charged taxes. Is that something we can coordinate with woo commerce?

    Hi @raihanwork,

Yes, this is absolutely possible with WooCommerce. You can set up a tax-exempt status for customers who provide their sales tax number. This can be done using the WooCommerce Tax Exempt plugin. It allows you to configure tax-exempt customers based on their user role or individual user account.

I hope this helps! If you have any other questions, feel free to ask.

can i do this for free?

    Hey, @raihanwork!

can i do this for free?

This is not included in the free WooCommerce plugin. But you might be able to find third-party plugins that offer it.

You can search for “woocommerce tax exempt“, or something similar, on the Plugins > Add New section of your dashboard or on a search engine like Google, for example.

Please note that we do not provide support for third-party plugins, so it is good to check the plugin thoroughly to see if it is reliable. You can find more about this in this guide.

Please let us know if there’s anything else we can do to help or if you have any questions.

    Have a wonderful day!
